What to Expect

Generations can be described as informal, fun, and committed. We are committed to Jesus Christ, committed to doing what he wants us to do as a church, and committed to serving the people with whom we come in contact.

Our Services

We hold an hour-long (sometimes a bit longer) service every Sunday morning. We keep things informal. The services are lively and meaningful. We don't like being bored. Or uncomfortable. You'll find people wearing bluejeans, and during the summer, people sometimes come in shorts. We don't mind. And if you want to wear a tie--and we have a few people who still prefer dressing up--that's okay, too.

Music

The music consists mostly of contemporary songs--mostly Christian songs, but with some familiar secular songs thrown in. A band leads everyone in singing. We typically have a couple guitarists, a drummer, and somone at the keyboard, plus several singers. Sometimes people clap, sometimes not.

Welcome and Accepted

We love having new people visit our church. Our goal lis to make everyone feel accepted--that we want them to be part of us. W're a friendly bunch, and we really really like each other.

Other Things to Know About Us

We like to laugh. A lot.

We focus a lot of attention on children and youth. Our Life Unlimited Youth Center and Kids Club are examples of this.

We don't put up walls between ourselves and Christians who happen to attend other churches. We want the other churches around us to thrive, too.

We're excited about serving Jesus Christ, who makes life meaningful and can straighten out any mess we get ourselves into.
